We did release a firmware update however just a few weeks ago, not specifically for the 11.6.0 update, but to address some compatibility issues and some improvements have also made their way into this new firmware, bringing with it support for some of the newest games and applications. You can rest assured however that if the R4 you purchased from us ever does need an update - the team is fast at work and always has a new firmware update available within hours of any release that could potentially make it so that your card is no recognized by the 3DS. Our cards are engineered and tested to work with every single update. Even if you have the R4 3DS version with the 2013 banner or 2014 / 2015 / 2016 banner you don’t need to do any type of updating either. We also make sure to continue to support all of our customers.

There were actually 2 different system updates that affected the Nintendo 2DS, Nintendo 3DS, Nintendo 3DS XL and the NEW 3DS systems. Closing your system while running an out-of-region game is totally ok though. Mainly, this build of ninjhax 2.0 does not support sleep mode, so do not close your system while running homebrew or you will be forced to reboot it.
